The scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for any engagement will be agreed in writing before work commences.

Professional Advice

HR Key provides HR expertise and practical recommendations based on information supplied by clients. While every effort is made to ensure advice is accurate, current, and aligned with best practice, our services do not constitute legal advice. Clients should seek independent legal counsel where appropriate. Ultimate responsibility for business decisions and implementation remains with the client.

Client Responsibilities

Clients engaging HR Key agree to:

  • Provide complete, accurate, and timely information.
  • Cooperate with requests necessary to deliver services.
  • Comply with all applicable employment legislation and regulations.
  • Retain responsibility for decisions relating to employees and business operations.

HR Key cannot be held responsible for outcomes arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or withheld information.

Fees and Payment

Fees will be agreed in advance and confirmed through a proposal, quotation, service agreement, or statement of work. Unless otherwise stated:

  • Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date.
  • Additional work requested outside the agreed scope may incur further charges.
  • HR Key reserves the right to suspend services where payments remain outstanding.

Confidentiality

We understand that HR matters often involve sensitive and confidential information. HR Key will treat all client information as confidential and will not disclose information to third parties except:

  • Where required by law.
  • Where authorised by the client.
  • Where necessary to deliver agreed services.

This commitment to confidentiality continues after the conclusion of our engagement.

Data Protection

HR Key is committed to safeguarding personal data and handling information in compliance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Intellectual Property

All reports, templates, policies, training materials, presentations, guides, and other content developed by HR Key remain the intellectual property of HR Key unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients may use materials provided for their internal business use only and may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise such materials without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HR Key shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses.
  • Loss of profits, revenue, contracts, or business opportunities.
  • Decisions made by clients based on advice provided.
  • Actions taken contrary to HR Key recommendations.

HR Key's total liability in relation to any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the services giving rise to the claim.

Website Use

Users of the HR Key website agree not to:

  • Use the website unlawfully.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data.
  • Introduce malicious software, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Copy, distribute, or reproduce website content without permission.

HR Key reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. Any updates will be posted on this website and will become effective immediately upon publication.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms or services provided by HR Key shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
